The head of the design department at my old school The Creative Circus sent me this. I made crystals out of ampersands….and their negative spaces. See? I LOVE ampersands….used to only look at them and the lower case ‘g’ when I was picking out typefaces…..
This unusual looking ampersand comes from a shoe & bag repair shop near the Stockton tunnel in San Francisco. Note the bottle of Jack Daniels wedged into that pipe.
