<blockquote><p>Okay,</p>
<p>We are having a debate at work (public library) between two forms of ampersand. See the photos. I prefer the classic ampersand. My co-worker uses the other form frequently. We wasted 30 minutes on this and found your blog link on Wikipedia and thought we&#8217;d have you judge for us.</p>
<p>Sincerely,<br />
Susan &amp; Meg <img src='http://ampersand.gosedesign.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p></blockquote>
<p><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_-RByXibAH7Q/ShwPOnBnz7I/AAAAAAAAAMw/25QlmVWbCCY/s640/P5260027.JPG" alt="Option A" /><br />
Option &#8220;A&#8221;</p>
<p><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_-RByXibAH7Q/ShwPQ-DF-NI/AAAAAAAAAM0/i4l-1DqC9Bg/s640/P5260028.JPG" alt="Option B /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Option " /></p>
<p>I think option &#8220;A&#8221; is appropriate in this instance, because it fits with the typography of the sign. In most other cases, I prefer &#8220;B.&#8221;</p>
