Deep Fried.

An onion ring that almost kind of resembles an ampersand. From Eli the Bearded’s photo in the Ampersandland photo pool.

Shoe & Bag Repair

This unusual looking ampersand comes from a shoe & bag repair shop near the Stockton tunnel in San Francisco. Note the bottle of Jack Daniels wedged into that pipe.

Lots & Lots

Nick Sherman sent me this poster he designed for myfonts.com. Pretty cool stuff. He also sent in this really enormous wood type ampersand from the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum. I mean just look at that beast.
